Thanks to all the recent attacks on Live Journal, I decided to log in here and dust this thing off. I'm not sure what, if anything, I'll do with this account, but at least I know I have it. I might back some stuff up here, privately, till I can sort out various filters. I still prefer LJ, to be honest, but better to have a backup, I suppose.

Oh, nothing of a personal nature :) *hugs back* It seems that Russia is sending a flurry of DDoS attacks against LJ in order to cut off political discussion over there (evidently LJ is a major platform for "dissident" political opinion). This has been going on, on and off, for a couple weeks now.

It seems having a backup is a smart move these days. I tend to try to delineate particular online avenues towards particular things, but they always seem to wind up jumbled together in the end anyway... *laughs*
